Animation is a Career (Blog #43)

Start with Something Big

. Looking int it, being an animator isn't just a job that one sticks to one company for their whole life, it's a life building career that builds upon experience in different ways. Many would think that, by just becoming an animator, you would automatically be brought into Disney or even Dreamworks and work there forever. Not true, it could happen but, it's not gonna happen with everyone. The article talks about how their comes a lot of work into getting where one wants to be and even so, being hired by Disney could mean you're fired in a few months. But, being an animator, you move your job to many clients and companies, where they need your work and talents.
They talked about their own experiences with different companies and how, even if they were fired from Disney, they moved around to different jobs and then, got a second chance with Disney for many popular movies during the Disney Renaissance Era.

Ending with a Bigger Knowledge

. This article truly helped me to understand that, animation is a hard career and well, it IS a career and that, if I want to do this, I gotta take criticism with a grain of salt, I try apply to a different company. It's all trial and error and you have to keep going and not give up because once you do, you're done for. I just found this inspiring as, yeah, I would like to get so good that I'm hired at Disney, anyone would but, it doesn't mean that if I'm not, doesn't mean I'm a failed animator, I'm just needed someplace else.
